In today’s episode, we’re celebrating 12 months of The Volunteer Voice! Katie and Arif chatted to Debbie Hendry from Unpaid Carers Support Southampton.
It was actually Debbie who introduced Katie and Arif, who went on to create The Volunteer Voice as part of the Community Hour on Awaaz FM, so it felt very fitting to have her as our guest for this special episode! Unpaid Carers Support Southampton supports unpaid adult carers aged 18 and over across Southampton. Their aim is to support people caring for a friend, neighbour, relative or loved one to understand their rights and options, while giving a voice to the thousands of unpaid carers living in our city. They operate as part of Citizens Advice Southampton.
