Community Development Worker – 22.5 Hours per week
Southampton Voluntary Services (SVS) is the local support and infrastructure organisation for the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE) in Southampton. We build community capacity through our focus on promoting volunteering, enabling good governance and management, forming networks for collaboration, and giving the sector a strong voice in local decisions.
Our community development activity is delivered through the SO:Linked programme and we currently have opportunities for a Community Development Worker (22.5 Hours/ £28,620 pro rata). The role will work to the attached job description, however, will have a focus area around:
- Community Development Worker (Network Development) – Forming a part of our voluntary sector support team this role will also have a focus on developing SVS’ extensive networks of local organisations.
