Yellow Door are recruiting to their Therapeutic Services Team

The positive impact of Yellow Door’s multi-faceted work has been independently evidenced in a recent national research project and identified as best practice in a European Parliament report. For all roles we are seeking flexible and highly motivated practitioners who share our values and passion for delivering the best services we can to those at risk from or impacted by sexual or domestic abuse.

Each post will assist us in delivering high quality individual, group and/or family therapeutic interventions as required. You will need a recognised counselling or psychological therapies qualification as well as experience relevant to the requirements of that role.

The hours stated below are the number available for each post; however we are also open to part-time applications.

Young People’s Counsellor (Out of School Hours)

30 hours per week

 

Under 11’s Therapeutic Practitioner (e.g. counsellor/art therapist/play therapist)  

35 hours per week

 6 month fixed term contract renewable subject to funding

 

Adult Counsellor

35 hours per week

 

All posts £22,396- £27,631 pro rata

(Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience)

Yellow Door works across Southampton, Hampshire and Isle of Wight but is based near central Southampton with free staff parking and opportunities for professional development.
