Southampton Women’s Forum – Deputy Administrative Secretary
Southampton Women’s Forum are seeking applications for the Voluntary Post of Deputy Administrative Secretary.
We are a small Voluntary Community Group for women, and our aim is to combat loneliness, embrace ethnic diversity and encourage friendships. We hold monthly Coffee mornings where we invite Speakers to talk about a variety of topics.
The role of the Administrative Secretary includes:
Booking venues and Speakers for Coffee mornings.
Preparation of information needed for a Committee meeting, attending the meeting and taking notes, and writing the formal minutes for circulation.
Contacting other organisations as requested by the Chair, and maintaining up-to-date records of useful contacts and Speakers
Liaising with the Chair about preparations for the Annual General Meeting
Full training will be provided for the role of Deputy.
